Not sure if anyone caught the CBC local news tonight.
Little story about a penthouse seller looking to get his place sold using feng-shui was on.
Seller mentioned that they had no offers after a substantial reduction I think the figure was $400k so they were trying this. Not sure if the original price was 2.4 million or was presently that much.
Nobody seemed worried, it was a nice place with a good view and it just needed some energy flow to attract a good bid.
jade east, funny you mention feng-shui… recently, my inlaws were trying to sell their house and pretty much all the asains just walked away (well, usually after the parents saw the house). apparently, it was bad fumg-shui to have stairs visible from the front door and have the house at a T intersection (middle of cul-de-sak)…. or maybe it was just an excuse.
Fung sui is one of those things people use as a negotiaion point but IMO most could care less deep-down. Even if I don’t believe it, I would still use it as a negotiation point when buying!
Lots of 8’s in the house number, mountains or hills behind the house, front of the house facing in the direction of water, and the front and back doors should not be directly in line. Oh, and the T-intersection makes the luck run away or something…
The staircase running up to the front door is REALLY bad for Chinese, it means that all the money will flow down the stairs and out into the street. It does not surprise me at all that they won’t buy and it’s not just an excuse. A friend of mine in High School rearranged his bedroom when his parents were out and they yelled and screamed at him until he put it back the way it was.
The Chinese believe that Bruce Lee was killed by bad Feng Shui. He was known as ‘Little Dragon’ and he built a house overlooking a mountain range known as the Sleeping Dragon. He was told it was terrible luck and he should put up a large 8 sided mirror in his yard to reflect the bad luck (something your friends could do at the bottom of the staircase or the T junction if they want Chinese buyers). The night he died there was a wind storm and the mirror broke (he was in LA at the time).
Doctors on the other hand say it was due to his incredibly low body fat and taking asprin (or tylenol I forget which) for the first time, with no fat to absorb and slowly release it it poisoned him.
well let me add some more fun to ongoing stuff . I have a friend who has five 4’s in his address (and no other digits). He will never sell it to a Chinese buyer. thanx for the clue i was wondering to find out. Most of new developments erase that number 4 from the floors hard to find floor 4,14,24,34. also hard to find unit number 104,204,304-114,214,224 and so on till the last floor. hint 4 was really helpful for me. drachen also a good picker did not cherry pick.

thumbsup, i didn’t think it was possible, but you’ve just topped your last record for incoherency. and you did it on a historic night too, when iginlas played his 804th game and luongo set a canucks record for consecutive shutout minutes.
regrettably, their accomplishments mean something. yours doesn’t. (latter comment was troll bait).

In all sincerity, this is really, really bad. Of course they will walk away. He can save time by not showing it to Chinese buyers.
