You have to check out the Discover Vancouver forum about the housing crash. You will piss yourself laughing at some of the comments

You actually found something about housing on that clown fest? How long did it take to wade past the posts about sex with Asian girls vs others, and do East Indians approve of oral sex, and what is your favourite body function and discuss why.

That forum is Vancouver at its finest – Renaissance minds in motion – Best Place On Earth – hosting world class juvenile smut.

Yeah, it’s funny like a migraine.

I’ve been speculating/joking with friends over beer about what the next bubble is going to be in (equities, RE, now commodities)…we came up with agricultural land – looks like we need to get our fund up and running!

I hope we got the leaky building problem fixed for this boom, but it doesnt give you much hope when even concrete buildings built with ‘rainscreen’ technology are leaking. You’d think that its a basic thing, we live in a VERY WET environment. Design and build to deal with that instead of the weird pseudo californian stucco designs, soggy stick buildings or poorly built concrete stuff.

I am curious to see how the buildings hold up that were built during this boom. Not to mention the new cheap stucco East Van houses.

Inventory numbers are very odd this month. I have a new post with the data on my blog. Please pop by I would love your thoughts!!
