Same level of adulation as you had for Christie. Make sure you kneel every time you see his image. Introspection is always an interesting thing. People get the government they deserve. People who treat politicians like kings and queens get politicians and political parties that behave as such. Such people follow their kings and queens with almost a religious fervour. Nothing that the leader does is ever wrong. In fact everything that the leader does is amazing. Someone here needs to introspect.

And for those who want China and USA to live in harmony.

That can’t happen. There can only be one.

Sources:
1) In the history of our entire world civilization, 2 great powers haven’t coexisted in harmony.
2) Pentagon generals have openly said there can only be one in veiled ways.

2 ways the NDP can reduce rent prices and prices. 1) Bring in the Renters tax credit. If landlords are outed for tax evasion via tax forms, then the return on investment of the condo doesn’t seem as attractive. Hence the landlord has 2 choices. Either raise rent or sell the condo for a price that makes sense to non tax evading investors. But demand must also be reduced. See 2. 2). There were 570,000 foreign students in Canada at the start of the year. 300,000 were from China and India. And Trudeau just announced $140 million to recruit more. So then what? NDP must limit foreign student spaces at all public schools. And it must shut down or reduce the scam schools. Or they must spread out the students across BC. They are silent. And the gong show continues.

With apologies to Trudeau, but do we really need more workers on Canada?

Rent prices:

Having seriously looked at rent prices, I see those areas that have more Chinese and Indian foreign students have higher rents. That’s where they spiked.

In other areas (white areas), there seems to be no spike.

This is where our disagreements arise. Surrey rents are up by about $600/month in the last 3 -4 years for basement suites while they are stable for places like North Van and New West.

Basically, massive foreign student inflows caused rent spikes and the resulting FOMO.

Just when things seemed to be settling down a little bit, our conflict with China has suddenly escalated to a dangerous new phase. This is not simply just a “trade war” any longer, and our relationship with China will never be the same again. As you will see below, President Trump just referred to Chinese President Xi Jinping as our “enemy”, and this is something that the Chinese are going to take extremely seriously. In China, the national leader is a representation of the government as a whole, and the government as a whole is a representation of the entire county. So to the Chinese people, what Trump just said will be interpreted as “the United States and China are now enemies”.

You might have noticed that Steve Bannon didn’t last all that long in the Trump administration.

Not only will Trump sign a deal before the 2020 election, he’ll follow up by inviting Xi to Mar-a-Lago and telling everyone what a great guy he is.

Best place on meth

Doesn’t matter too much if Bannon is in or out of the cabinet, he actually has more influence out of the administration because the lying mainstream media doesn’t get to focus on him as much which deprives them of their oxygen.

Why don’t you like Bannon?

That will be the case no matter the outcome. Do you think if a deal is made it could possibly be worse for the US than what they have now?

What Obama did was a failure. Letting China get away unfair trade practices and saying and doing nothing. Pretty much sums up the Obama presidency.

YVR

I will also add even with no deal Trump has already won by making manufacturing less attractive in China and more attractive in the US. That was the goal for those of you who have not figured it out.

Triggering retaliatory tariffs against American-produced goods seems counter-productive.

Causing factory closures and mass job losses in china seems very productive.

That could lead to unrest which could lead to the fall of the communists.

But of course it’s not just China. The tariff tit-for-tat seems to involve much of the world, including most of the traditional US allies.

Best place on meth

No in this case, but the point is to bring some manufacturing back to the US, sending some to other Asian countries, bringing a shit ton to Mexico which makes very good sense, and above all taking it ALL away from china so that rotten shithole curls up and dies.

Selective Memory
Guest
Selective Memory

The US accounts for something less than one fifth of Chinese exports. So even if it all went poof, China would still be a formidable economic force.

These tariff wars will benefit companies that manufacture stuff in America to sell to Americans. It will disadvantage those with foreign supply chains or customers. I think there’s a lot more of the latter than there are of the former, which could lead to some serious pushback from business lobbies

The democratic system was co-opted from Day One..
The early advocates wanted independent individuals as their elected representatives..and were against grouped party affiliations.

What has evolved is a top down system whereby individual autonomy is verboten….

In Canada, ex PM Lester Pearson had a system whereby Canada was divided into 6 regions in an attempt to create balance.

When Pierre Turdeau became PM…he was on a mission to divide Canada via his numerous policies..starting with bilingualism as initial wedge…..then multiculturalism. Justin Turdeau???? is simply Pierre 2.0

Current MP’s etc and potential candidates only have to recall Pierre Turdeau’s condescending comments r about MP”s aka …..they are nobodies 100 ft from Parliament.

From Bob Mackins “The Breaker”site (sorry can’t link…stays in moderation) A woman implicated in the United States college admissions scandal may be a Surrey resident. The Los Angeles Times reported Aug. 19 that Xiaoning Sui “who lives in the Vancouver area” allegedly paid a US$100,000 bribe to the University of California Los Angeles soccer coach, Jorge Salcedo, via the scheme’s mastermind Rick Singer. Salcedo recruited Sui’s son to the Bruins’ soccer team, even though he had not played competitive soccer, according to charging papers against Salcedo. Sui, however, has not been charged. All detached property flips over the last 90 days in Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby ended up with the seller getting less than what they originally paid for the property.

Yep. Turdeau has given china 42 billion in contracts to help build parts of 2 west coast LNG plants at the expense of our own steel industry. How anyone could vote for that FUCKING TRAITOR is beyond me. We must end the nightmare in october. From the article: United Steelworkers’ national director Ken Neumann says the Liberal government’s decision to drop tariffs on Chinese steel for the construction of two west coast liquid natural gas plants is “absolutely ludicrous”. “They should be embarrassed because what they’re doing is continuing to give to China. Here’s a country that continues to dump. They’ve been found guilty,” Neumann told The Post Millennial. “And yet they’re going to allow these Canadian projects to use Chinese steel to manufacture some of these modules in China and bring them over here – to me that is… Read more »

Actually, he only pretended to have patience with them, his goal all along was to destroy them which is a noble ambition and one I support 100%.
